To replicate a selected user or role permissions to other users or roles:
select required source user or role, whose permissions you want to replicate to other users, in the Object Explorer, under Security subfolder in the database folder
choose Replicate Permissions from a popup menu. The Replicate Permissions dialog box will be opened.
select target users and/or roles, to whom you want to assign the same permissions as source user has, in the Target list. You can apply name filters to limit items that are displayed in the target list. It is useful if you have large number of users and roles to choose from.
Press Execute button if you want to immediately create new permissions in a
database. Press Generate SQL button, if you only want to generate SQL
script that contains required new permissions but without applying it to a
database.
