Running NetUpdate Online

To run a NetUpdate when your workstation has a direct Internet connection:

Choose Help -> NetUpdate top-level menu.

1. In the NetUpdate wizard select Run NetUpdate Now radio button and press Next button.
2. If your workstation has a direct Internet connection, the wizard will attempt to connect to the SAMS and check existence of the updates for your system online. If your workstation does not have Internet connection or it is behind a firewall, the update request file will be saved under \register subdirectory and you should e-mail this file as an attachment to register@serverstudio.com
3. In the online mode, if there are any updates for your system, this information will be displayed in the Status messages area.
4. If you want to install the updates, press Continue button. The software is downloaded and installed on your system.
5. Restart the application for changes to take effect.
6. If you do not like the changes, made to your system, use Tools -> Configuration menu to open the System Configuration dialog box and explicitly specify versions of software components, which you want to have active for your profile. You can rollback, for example, only selected modules.
