The Object Explorer is a tree-view component that allows you to browse the
content of the tree branches, view properties of the selected tree nodes,
navigate to object-specific editors, and perform object-specific tasks.
The Connections folder allows you to organize and explore database servers.
For each database server you can browse databases, tables, routines, triggers,
views, data types, and synonyms.
Open the Properties Inspector document in the Document pane of Server
Studio to view properties of the object selected in the explorer tree view.
The format of a properties view is specific to the selected object.
The Object Explorer interface includes a toolbar displayed above the
tree view. The Object Explorer toolbar is context-sensitive and displays buttons
for most commonly used operations for the selected object in the explorer
tree view. The complete list of available operations for the selected node
is displayed in the popup menu.
You can find the status bar at the bottom of the Object Explorer panel to
view information about operations being performed in the Object Explorer and
the selected explorer object.
