Disconnecting from a server

There are two ways, to disconnect from a server

From the Object Explorer

1. Select a connected server node in the Object Explorer, which you want to disconnect
2. Choose Disconnect from the popup menu. All open documents, such as SQL Editors and Table Editors, connected using this server connection, will be disconnected.

From the Connection Manager dialog box or Connect dialog box

1. Choose the connection, which you want to disconnect from the dropdown list of connections.
2. Press Disconnect button. All open documents, such as SQL Editors and Table Editors, connected using this server connection, will be disconnected.
