Data Storage Explorer

The Data Storage Explorer is displayed as a separate Storage folder under the server node in the Object Explorer tree. You have to connect to the server to be able to use data storage explorer. The Data Storage Explorer display variety of information about DB Spaces, BLOB Spaces, LOG Spaces and chunks.

Spaces List View

To display the list of available spaces on the server, select the Spaces node in the Object Explorer under the selected server. The list of all spaces is displayed in the Properties Panel. You can sort this list by any columns using Sort popup menu in the grid.

You can also get list of all spaces in the Object Explorer by expanding the Spaces folder. This view is convenient if you want to navigate to space's details for several spaces. DB Spaces, LOG Spaces and TEMP Spaces are displayed using different images in the tree view.

Space Details View

The Space Details view displays the properties for a selected space. To display this view, select the required space in the Object Explorer or in the Spaces list in the Properties Panel and choose Properties popup menu.

Chunk Details view

To display the details for a chunk, expand the space branch, where the chunk belongs, select the required chunk in the tree and use popup Properties menu. The Chunk Properties panel will be opened in the Properties Panel.
