The Connection Group Manager dialog box allows you to create new
and maintain existing groups of stored server connections.
Connection groups are useful when you have a number of servers
and you want to organize them. For example, you can organize them geographically
(New York Servers or London Servers) on the development process (Development,
QA, Production) or based on operating system (Win NT, UNIX , Linux Servers.
After you create a server group, it is added to the Object Explorer
and you can assign server connections to it.
To add a new group, type in the group name in the Editor field
and press Add button.
To rename an existing group, select a group in the list and press
Rename. The group field becomes editable so that you can type a new name for
the group. To save a change, click any other field in the dialog box or press
Close.
To delete a group,
select a group in the list and press Delete. Press Yes in the Confirmation
dialog box.
