Comparing Files

To compare two text files:

• Choose Tools -> DB Diff from the top-level menu. The Diff Explorer will be opened in the explorer area of the Server Studio workspace.
• From the Source dropdown list of the top tree view choose File. Use "..." button to open File Browse dialog box. Select the source file for comparison. The source file is the one, which you consider older.
• From the Source dropdown list of the bottom tree view choose File. Use "..." button to open File Browse dialog box. Select the target file for comparison. The target file is the one, which you consider newer.
• From the popup menu of either of the tree views, select Compare. You can also use Compare button on the explorer toolbar. The DB Diff Output panel will be opened in the document area of the Server Studio workspace.
