Adding Workstation Licenses to the User Certificate
When you receive a first user certificate, it automatically
contains evaluation add-on module licenses for the workstation where the
certificate request was generated.
If you want to use the application on multiple workstations, you will have to
add to your certificate licenses for these additional workstations.
To add licenses to your certificate:
- Launch the Server Studio JE application on the
workstation where you never used it before.
- In the User Profile Loader dialog box press Create
New Profile button. The New User Profile dialog box will open.
- Press the Request Certificate button. The
Registration Wizard will open.
- In the Registration Wizard choose the Request
Certificate COPY radio button and press Next button.
- Enter the e-mail account, which you have used for
the original certificate.
- If your workstation has a direct Internet connection the wizard will
attempt to connect to the SAMS and the user certificate file will be e-mailed
to you. If your workstation does not have Internet connection or it is behind
a firewall, the certificate request file will be saved under \register
subdirectory and you should e-mail this file as an attachment to register@serverstudio.com
- After you receive the certificate file from the SAMS, place this file into
\register subdirectory under Server Studio JE
directory.
